MudHut Studio & Ceramics

Inspired by the ocean and the coastal flora , we create pieces that blend form and function with artistry. Whether it’s the raw, earthy textures reminiscent of the Fort Bragg countryside, the fluid lines echoing the Pacific waves, or bold designs that bridge both worlds, each collection tells a story of connection to nature.

Welcome to the Studio

MudHut Ceramics is a collaboration of neighbors who became friends and, together, discovered the art of pottery. Founded in 2024 on the outskirts of Fort Bragg, California, our studio reflects the creative release we each found in ceramics. Lisa creates brightly colored, whimsical sculptures; Bob crafts functional pots with simple shapes and earthy tones; and Celine designs highly decorative, unique functional ware.

In our studio, we shape decorative art for the soul, vessels crafted for daily use, and gifts that celebrate the handmade. Working primarily in mid-fire ceramics with an electric kiln, we also create many of our food-safe glazes and are exploring low-temperature pit-firing techniques.

MudHut Ceramics is a destination for those who value creativity, authenticity, and the essence of Fort Bragg’s coastal and countryside charm. We aim to offer Mendocino Coast residents and visitors something locally made to treasure. Contact us to arrange a visit!
