Fort Bragg Open Studios

Open your studio. Share your process. Connect with your community.

Fort Bragg Open Studios invites local artists to take part in our second annual, town-wide celebration of creativity, welcoming the public into the spaces where art is made.

About the Call to Artists

Following the successful return of Fort Bragg Open Studios in July 2025, we’re excited to invite artists to participate in the 2026 Open Studios event. This is a unique opportunity to open your studio or workspace, share your creative process, and engage directly with visitors who are eager to learn, connect, and support local art.

Open Studios offers more than just sales, it’s about storytelling, education, and community. Visitors value seeing how work is made, hearing about techniques and inspiration, and understanding the skill, persistence, and passion behind each piece. We strongly encourage artists to offer demonstrations or informal explanations to enrich the visitor experience.

In 2025, 18 participating artists welcomed hundreds of visitors, many making meaningful sales while gaining new collectors and connections. Building on those lessons, we’re expanding outreach and advertising for 2026 and expect an even stronger event.

Artist participation fees are expected to range from $30–$60, helping support marketing efforts and the Fort Bragg Open Studios Preview Exhibition at Edgewater Gallery.

Artists without suitable studio space may be paired with other local artists when possible.

If you’re creating original, high-quality work and want to be part of a growing tradition that supports Fort Bragg’s creative community, we encourage you to apply.

Deadline to apply: February 28, 2026
